Teladoc Visit

Your insurance plan includes Teladoc within the USA, and this should be your first place to seek medical care in non-emergency situations. You can learn more about accessing this on our Teladoc page , or by downloading our helpful PDF .

Find a Doctor/Hospital

If your condition is severe or you need in-person medical attention, you can find doctors online that are part of your insurance plan.

  • Urgent Care Centers and Walk-In Clinics are often the best places to seek medical care quickly and you will pay less out-of-pocket.
  • Only use the Emergency Room (ER) in emergency situations. Your plan may include an additional ER deductible that you will have to pay if you seek treatment at the Emergency Room.

Insurance ID Card

Make sure you have a copy of your insurance ID card on you when you visit the doctor and present this to them at the time of treatment. If you don’t have your ID card with you at the time of treatment, you may be required to pay for your medical expenses up front.

If you need a copy of your insurance ID card, visit MyDocuments to download it.

Prescription Drugs

If your plan includes a prescription network, you will just need to show your insurance ID card to the pharmacy and pay the prescription co-pay.

If your plan does not include a prescription network, you will need to pay for your medication in full at the pharmacy. You can then submit the prescription Rx label and your pharmacy receipt to the claims team (along with a claim form) to be reimbursed for your eligible expenses.

In certain areas of the USA there are discounted, or free medication drug programs available which you can utilize to lower your costs — they include:

  • Publix — free medication drug program
  • Walmart — offers a discounted $4 medication drug program.
  • ShopRite — offers free antibiotics when prescribed.

Claims Follow Up

It is your responsibility to follow up with the claims team and make sure your claims are processed and paid!

Please follow these guidelines:

  • Make sure you have registered for your MyIMG account and check on the status of your claim online.
  • Medical records or other documents may be needed in order to process your claim. If this is the case, it is your responsibility to reach out to your doctor to ask that they submit these records to the insurance company on your behalf.
